War Robots (Walking War Robots) is an online multiplayer robot combat game developed by Pixonic, in which players pilot giant robots in a 6 versus 6 teams capture-the-flag style combat simulation. Available on both iOS and Android.
Here are the most important Walking War Robots Tips to level up faster. Get more Silver (Ag), Gold (Au), and Workshop Points (WP) to purchase Robots and Weapons. We’ll also share the walking war robots tips to get free silver, gold and workshop points just by playing walking war robots with a purpose. Finally, we look at what you need to know about walking war robots tips to get resources.

Beacons
A beacon is a location on a map that can be captured by either team.
Each map has five beacons, marked by beams of light coming from a small structure on the ground. At the start of a match, all five beacons are unclaimed and show a white light. When a beacon is captured by allies it changes color to blue, and when captured by an opponent it changes to red. A captured beacon will remain captured until the end of the game unless it is recaptured by the opposing team. Beacons can be captured and recaptured multiple times during a match.
In order to capture a beacon, a robot must remain within several meters of the beacon until it changes color. There are two basic scenarios for capturing a beacon:
Unclaimed beacon: as soon as a robot enters and remains in the capture radius, the letter corresponding to that beacon will begin flashing that team's color around the beacon in an increasing pie, for approximately 5 seconds until the letter has a solid color background and is captured. If the robot leaves the capture radius or is destroyed before the circle completes the beacon will remain uncaptured.
Already claimed beacon: as soon as a robot from an opposing team enters the capture radius, the beacon letter will begin flashing a countdown but will remain as previously captured for 5 seconds, then turn white before beginning to be captured by the player. If the robot leaves the capture radius or is destroyed before the beacon turns white, the beacon will remain in the opposing team's control. As in scenario 1, it is possible for a robot to turn the beacon to white and leave the capture radius before securing the beacon for their team. A claimed beacon requires an approximate 10-second cycle to be captured by the opposition.
walking war robots tips for capturing and holding beacons is the main object of the game. There are two ways to achieve the victory that is directly related to the beacons:
  1. Fully depleting the Dominance bar of the opposing team.
  2. Having more of the Dominance bar remaining than the opposing team has when the game timer reaches zero.
Generally, it is good to acquire three beacons and hold those three. Although holding all five beacons is the fastest path to victory, against a well-matched team it is improbable to successfully defend more than three beacons at once. The center beacon is usually the most hotly contested beacon, and it is very common for this beacon to change hands many times in one battle.

5,000 silver is awarded for each beacon capture and the Medal of Capture and 5 gold is awarded to a player on the winning team with the most beacon captures. In the case of multiple winning players capturing the same number of beacons, the medal is awarded at random to one of those players.

Robots
A robot is a large armed walking vehicle which players use to battle for dominance of a battlefield. Each robot belongs to one of three weight classes: Light Robot, Medium Robot or Heavy Robot. Robots come in a variety of configurations varying in size, shape, speed, durability, and Special Abilities.
Each robot has a fixed number and type of Weapon Hardpoints. The 3 types of Hardpoints are Heavy, Medium and Light. A weapon can only be fitted to the corresponding hardpoint type and the number and type of hardpoints cannot be changed.
Most robots require the player to reach a certain Player Level before the robots become available for purchase. To reach a higher level, the player needs to gain Experience.

Weapon
Weapons come in three classes: Light, Medium & Heavy. Generally, the larger the weapon the greater the damage. Weapons also vary in range from close range to long range. Generally the longer the range the lesser the damage.
Hardpoints are the mounts on each robot that weapons or shields can attach to. A robot may have up to four hardpoints, and depending on design can be in a variety of positions or combinations. Hardpoints come in three types, to match the equivalent weapon classes. The hardpoints on robots cannot be upgraded, repositioned or removed. Only the corresponding weapon class can be mounted on a Hardpoint. There is one exception to this rule; the Ecu can be mounted to either a light or medium side hardpoint.
There are five weapon types in War Robots, the weapons are grouped based on how they work and do damage.

Guns: Simple bullet/shell firing rifles/cannons with a flat trajectory and high velocity.
Missiles: Launchers that fire powerful explosive munitions that do splash damage. They travel slowly with a flat trajectory (except the SM NORICUM and Zenit which fire in a high mortar/artillery-like arc).
Homing Missiles: These lock on and fire projectiles that track the target. With some practice, you can wind homing missiles over, under, and around obstacles. Nowhere is safe from a homing missile.
Energy: Energy weapons are a line of sight weapons that fire laser beams or bolts of super-heated plasma. High velocity.
Shields: Equipment used to block incoming fire. Hard shields and energy shields are available.

Money and Workshop Points
This is the last walking war robots guide tips.
There are three types of currency in the game: Silver (Ag), Gold (Au), and Workshop Points (WP). Is the most easily acquired type of money. Over half of the robot types and most of the equipment costs silver. It is the only type of money used to upgrade robots and items to higher levels.
Silver is awarded for a variety of accomplishments during battles: most significantly the total damage dealt with enemies. Other events that earn silver are a number of robots destroyed (killing shots), number of Beacons capped, and a number of critical hits (shots that destroy weapons or slow a robot's movement speed). Winning the match will add a 50% bonus. Additionally, the first 3 victories of the day will give an extra 30,000 silver to the player. Additional Silver can be purchased in the game by spending Gold, and you can earn more silver per match by buying Premium.
Gold is the most difficult money to come by and its most important use is unlocking hangar slots. It can also be used to purchase certain robots and items, most of which are highly sought after. Other uses include accelerating upgrade time and purchasing additional Workshop Points (WP).

A player earns 50 Gold each time they level up. Gold can also be earned during battles by winning medals. Four medals are awarded each game to players on the winning team. A "Medal of Capture" awards 5 gold for capturing the most beacons, and the "Medal of Valor" medals award 5 gold for first place, 3 gold for second place, and 1 gold for third place. More information about medals earned during a match can be found by pushing Rewards next to the Team button at the match review screen. If the player did not get any medals, this button will be greyed out. Each day two daily missions are assigned which award gold (or less commonly WP) when completed.

Workshop points (WP) are unlocked at Level 20 and are used to buy the next generation robots and weapons. NEXT GENERATION ROBOTS AND WEAPONS COST WSP TO PURCHASE, BUT UPGRADING COSTS REGULAR SILVER. In the workshop, you can get 85 workshop points for 40,000 silver, and take 4 hours to produce. Your workshop starts with one slot open. As your workshop levels up from producing workshop points, you gain more queue spaces for producing workshop points with silver, to a maximum of six queue slots. The status bar across the top shows your progress toward the next workshop level. Lvl 9 & higher Workshops can produce 85 x 6 = 510 WP every 24 hours at the cost of 40k x 6 = 240k Silver, not including milestone bonuses or purchasing WP with Gold.
